On 23 December 2021, Michał Bilewicz, a psychology professor from Warsaw University, invited by Dr Nona Chanturia, the lecturer of the Holocaust History course, gave an online lecture to the course students.
The lecture was about the psychological aspects of the Holocaust. Namely, on the psychological aspects of visiting the Holocaust memorial sites, raising the visitors’ consciousness and the political context of the Holocaust education.
The lecture was followed by the question and answer session. The course students asked interesting questions on the Holocaust victim psychology, the psychological and social atmosphere of ghettoes, and the European youth’s attitude to the Holocaust.
At the end of the meeting, Michał Bilewicz noted the preparation of the students. He expressed his hope for future cooperation with the course author.
