The Lecturer and Students of Grigol Robakidze University at the International Holocaust Remembrance Day Event

On 27 January 2020,  Tbilisi city assembly hosted the event dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The event was attended by members of the Tbilisi city assembly and the parliament of Georgia, Ran Gidor, Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, Itsik Moshe, the founder of the Israeli House, members of the public and the universities, where the students studied about the Holocaust.

Grigol Robakidze University was represented by Dr Nona Chanturia, the author of Holocaust History at the university and the students, Anano Sadaghashvili, Ana Manvelishvili and Nino Lutidze.

The event, with other events during the semester, has been important for the students of the Holocaust history in terms of seeing the Holocaust in a broader context.
