Grigol Robakidze University lecturer and students at the event dedicated to International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2020

On January 27, 2020, an event dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day was held at the Tbilisi City Council. The event was attended by representatives of the Tbilisi City Council and the Parliament of Georgia, Ran Gidor, a new Israeli Ambassador to Georgia , Itsik Moshe, the founder of the Israel House , representatives of the public, and those Georgian universities where students study the Holocaust.
Doctor of History Nona Chanturia, the author of the “Holocaust History” course, and the course students from Grigol Robakidze University, Anano Sadaghashvili, Ana Manvelishvili, and Nino Lutidze were invited to the event.
Along with other activities carried out during the semester, this event was important for the students of the “Holocaust History” course, in terms of seeing the issue in a broader context.
